If you're off to one of the many Halloween Horror Nights happening this year then Spooky Eyes has a few suggested events that may be of interest to you.
The Cemetery of Lost Souls.
The Cemetery of Lost Souls is a private home in Massapequa Park, NY, which has been putting this charity event together for the last 7 years and raising money for worthy causes like Breast Cancer Research, Autism Speaks, Ronald McDonald House, which helped families with children afflicted with cancer and Long Island Cares to help feed the hungry.
This year they are dedicating their Halloween event to Melissas Wish. They are a non profit organization much like Ronald Mcdonald House that help families and or caregivers with short term non medical financial aid in the form of a grant. They help families that are caring for sick children or any family members that are having trouble paying for all their expenses due to the high costs of caring for their family members.
The event begins on 10/12/2019 and will run for 7 full nights on the weekends to follow and takes place at 350 Broadway Massapequa Park, NY 11762.
So go and get scared and raise some money for a very worthwhile charity.

In 1978, the ladies of the Sorosis Club came up with a fundraising idea that has grown into their Annual Haunted House. It was an instant hit for the residents in their community. Many local residents have come through as children and are now sharing the experience with their own grandchildren.
This event will open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from Oct 17th through Oct 26th starting at 7:00PM. Visit their Facebook Page for specific times. Each year the theme is changed to entice their audience and challenge their fears. Visitors are impressed with the creativity and special effects. The scare factor is right up there with Halloween Horror Nights!
It will take over 60 volunteers to transform the 3,000 square foot building into a Murder Hotel. The monies they raise go toward charitable contributions benefiting area children and causes in their community. The Sorosis Club is well known for their haunted house and other annual events such as Lunch with The Easter Bunny, Summer Splash Bash, Lunch with Santa, and Operation Santa. So give them a visit this October and get scared for a good cause.

The Field of Screams, offers a creepy walk through a six-acre haunted cornfield maze, a horrendous two-story barn, the always absurd forest, the Hayride to Hell, and the newly added Scream Tag.
